Upgrade on AMS steels has been continued with over 50 recent specifications for steel castings, and various corrosion- and heat-resistant products.
Brazilian HSLA plates, carbon steel plates for pressure vessels, and a variety of seamless and welded carbon and alloy steel tubes have been added as well.
UNS heat- and corrosion resistant steels and super alloys (SXXXXX series) have been updated.

KEY to METALS • Steel now features a major upgrade on AMS steels that includes a large variety of carbon steel products, alloy steel castings, maraging and corrosion resistant steels.
Chinese steels have been updated with new specifications for plates for boilers and pressure vessels, cold drawn bars, stainless steel tubes, high-speed tool steels, carbon steel cold-rolled sheets and strips, and more.
UNS cast irons (FXXXXX series), carbon and alloy steels (GXXXXX), and H-steels (HXXXXX) have been updated as well.
Over 300 proprietary carbon-, alloy-, heat- and corrosion resistant steels have been added.

A large number of Brazilian steels and specifications have been added to the Database for the first time. They range from flat carbon steel products, bars, tubes, HSLA steels, tool steels, and stainless steel.
The upgrade of Korean alloys has been continued by adding high-alloyed, stainless and heat-resistant steels, carbon steel castings and forgings, spring steels, and tool steels.
More than 500 proprietary super-alloys have been added to the Database.
Italian RINA ship-building specifications for rolled steel plates, sections and bars, and steel pipes, tubes and fittings have been added.
Indian steels have been updated as well with stainless steels, castings, welding filler materials, and ferroalloys.

A major upgrade is done on Indian steels. It included a large variety of alloys and products from over 50 standards.
Korean steels are updated with nickel steel alloys, silicon manganese alloys, hot- and cold rolled HSS sheets for automobile uses, micro alloyed steels, carbon and alloy steel castings, boron steels, and more.
More than 300 proprietary carbon and high-strength low alloy (HSLA) steels are added as well.

Upgrade on Japanese steels is continued with various carbon and Low-alloyed steels for structural use, carbon-, high speed- and alloy tool steels, stainless steel bars, plates, sheets and strips, spring steels, and more.
Euronorm materials are updated with recent specifications for various welding consumables.
US AISI, SAE and UNS steel properties are upgraded with physical properties of carbon and low alloy steels, with elevated temperature properties of stainless steels, and with high temperature alloys for exhaust manifolds.

Major upgrade is made for Japanese steels. It included stainless steels for springs, steel for concrete reinforcement, seamless and welded tubes for pressure purposes and nickel alloys bars, plates, sheets and strips.
Euronorm steel properties are updated with recent specifications for case hardening steels, hot rolled low carbon steel, steel castings, hot rolled weldable steel bars and cast irons.
Physical properties and properties on elevated temperature for European stainless and other high alloy steels are added as well.

Chinese corrosion-resistant alloys are updated, as well as heat-resistant steel and alloy castings for general applications, cold-worked precision seamless steel tubes, and hardfacing electrodes.
A large number of Russian steels are upgraded: high electric resistance alloys, carbon steel for general purposes, heat-, cold- and wear-resistant steels, high-speed steel bars and strips, welded and seamless steel tubes, and more.
Heat treatment TTT and CCT diagrams are added for over 2700 European materials. Moreover, 200+ new hardenability diagrams are added for ISO, Chinese, Russian and other steels.

Composition, mechanical and physical properties of Chinese steels are updated with new specifications for a large group of stainless and heat-resisting steels, and for continuously hot- and cold rolled HSS for automobiles.
Russian alloys are upgraded with specifications for pig iron and ferroalloys: ferrosilicium, ferromanganese, ferrochromium, ferrotitanium, ferroboron, and others.
Update on ASTM materials is continued with additional 20 recent specifications, covering cold-rolled carbon steel, structural steel for ships, steel and gray iron castings, welded and seamless steel pipes, forged components, and more.

Another 200+ Korean alloys are added: spring and electrode wires, cold- and hot-rolled carbon steel strip, chromium- and manganese-molybdenum steel plates, coated sheets, coils and pipes, and bars and rods.
Major upgrade is made on Spanish steels, which includes coated steel sheets and strips, hot rolled products for structures and shipbuilding, various structural steels, and carbon, alloy and stainless sheets and strips for boilers.
A number of ASTM materials is updated with mechanical properties according to the 2007 collection. Specifications updated comprise steel forgings, line pipes, martensitic stainless steel, steels for high temperature service, HSLA sheets and strips, and more.

Aktualizacja chińskich stali obejmuje elektrody do napawania utwardzającego, stalowe blachy i taśmy o podwyższonej wytrzymałości do przemysłu motoryzacyjnego, walcowane na gorąco w sposób ciągły, rury bez szwu ze stali nierdzewnej na kotły, żaroodporne i nierdzewne pręty stalowe, żaroodporne stale i stopy do ogólnych zastosowań.
Stale Euronorm zostały aktualizowane o właściwości w podwyższonych temperaturach dla ferrytycznych stali żaroodpornych, rur stalowych bez szwu oraz stali martenzytycznych. Dodane zostały również krzywe hartowności dla stali typu H w nawiązaniu do EN 10084, EN 10263-3 oraz EN 10263-4.
Dodano ponad 200 nowych stali w nawiązaniu do koreańskich KS. Aktualizacja obejmuje rozmaite stale walcowane, pręty stalowe do zbrojenia betonu, blachy i kręgi ocynkowane, pręty superstopowe nierdzewne i żaroodporne, blachy i nie tylko.
Nowy język został wprowadzony do KEY to METALS • Steel -- węgierski.

Aktualizacja właściwości stali określonych przez międzynarodowe normy ISO obejmuje stale do obróbki wydzieleniowej, rury spawane i bez szwu, blachy walcowane na gorąco oraz powlekane cyną, jak również rozmaite stale wykorzystywane w przemyśle naftowym, petrochemicznym i gazowym.
Seria aktualizacji chińskich stali została rozszerzona o stopowe stale konstrukcyjne, pręty ciągnione na zimno, rury spawane i bez szwu do transportu płynów oraz do zastosowań konstrukcyjnych, stale żaroodporne i odlewy do ogólnych zastosowań i nie tylko.
Najbardziej istotna aktualizacja została dokonana na rosyjskich stalach GOST. Zawiera druty sprężynowe i utwardzane powierzchniowo, tabor kolejowy, walcowana na gorąco stal na zbrojenia, pręty ze stali sprężynowej, węglowej i stopowej, narzędziowa stal stopowa, taśmy, zwoje, surówka hutnicza oraz rozmaite odlewy. Ponadto, aby dostarczyć ci lepsze możliwości porównywania, do pola Komentarze zostały dodane oryginalne oznaczenia zapisane w cyrylicy.
Zostało dodane ponad 1000 nowych diagramów obróbki cieplnej -- TTT i CCT -- dla ponad 500 europejskich materiałów.

Europejskie oznaczenia i właściwości stali, w tym właściwości fizyczne i pełzania, zostały aktualizowane w oparciu o najświeższe normy dla stali hartowanych i ulepszonych cieplnie, drutów elektrodowych, profili wydrążonych i produktów płaskich formowanych na zimno, stali uszlachetnionych powierzchniowo oraz odlewów żaroodpornych.
Dodatkowa aktualizacja została dokonana na stalach ASTM dla 25 specyfikacji rozmaitych stali węglowych, stopowych i nierdzewnych w oparciu o nową kolekcję norm z 2007 roku.
